Melisa Yağmur Özel works primarily in Commercial Law, with extensive experience in Corporate Law, Law of Contracts, Law of Obligations, and Capital Markets Law. She advises companies operating in Turkey from the incorporation stage on structuring corporate governance processes, conducting general assembly procedures, and establishing legal frameworks for company operations.

She manages due diligence processes in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and investment transactions, and plays an active role in capital increases, share transfers, and other structural transactions in both public and private companies. She represents clients in shareholder disputes and provides comprehensive legal support throughout these processes.

She also participates in the drafting and negotiation of share transfer, partnership, confidentiality, purchase and sale, production, supply, lease, franchise, and other commercial agreements, providing regular legal advisory services to national and international companies in the textile, retail, investment, and tourism sectors.
